So my final mark for CALM is a 71,2%. Not bad. Considering the thing that brought my mark down the most was the difficulty of finding the CALM teacher for the first...3 weeks? or more? (followed by the brouhaha with one of the assist.-principals) Attendance was worth 13.2%. I think the second highest weighted assignment was the Job application package with 6.8%.
Anyway, had my Math diploma today. The written part went by quickly! I was already on the last part of the last question (which was a Probability question inserted into a Cost Analysis question. Argh) by about 9:45. I know I got about 2 questions wrong. There was a 'trick question' inserted in the Applied diploma...kind of. But to solve the question, you needed to know how gas prices are calculated. (So ie. if gas is 54.6 cents/L and your tank is 50L it's highly possible for anyone to go 50L x 54.6 cents. It should be 0.546 $ x 50 L) Then later was multiple choice which I had some problems with due to my getting answers for 2 questions I fully understood that were off by 5-10 of the closest answer. Other than that, it wasn't too hard...except that the first 15 questions were on probability and I'm sure I got some of those wrong.
Finally, I have some time to rest and study a bit as my next exam isn't until next Tuesday
Oh and RN is evil. Or well, the ENG 1100 course is. I cannot no matter which Section I pick register. I either get 'Class full' or 'This course is not availible for your program' (I've gotten that more than the 'Class is full' message which I've gotten once). I think I might end up having to register in one of the 3hr-sections that are mostly at night. Boo.
