Yesterday

I was out most of the day in the cold doing some shopping and while in Chinatown, I found the Fullmetal Alchemist 2005 Anime Calendar for a shocking 9$. Then, I traveled further south to Chinook and went to the HMV there and found some Vangelis CDs and bought Vangelis: Portraits {So Long Ago. So Clear} sadly, when I opened the package I realised that the CD was damaged. Not scratched damaged but like..."tampered" damaged. (There's like black streaks on it here and there) So later today after I'm done with all the other stuff I have to do, I'll head back out again and see if HMV will accept an exchange for the CD or a refund.

I'm considering wearing my other winter coat today...its just as cold today as it was yesterday! (-16°C but it feels like -25°C. Much fun) I was also thinking of heading all the way up to Sunridge but I don't think the store in that mall is there anymore so I probably won't bother. Going to call up a friend and see what she's up to. :)

(For some bizarre reason, the clock on my computer is slowing down ALOT. Its about 10mins behind on all the other clocks)

Ya d'la neige! Y'a d'la neiiige ♪

Bon, je me lève ce matin et j'ouvre ma fenêtre et qu'es-ce que je vois? De la neige! Eeet beaucoup :3 (Euh, quelques centimètres...c'est beaucoup en considérant qu'es-ce qui se passe avec la météo ici...la neige en septembre, l'été en octobre, la neige encore en novembre pis la neige fond et c'est chaud jusqu'à décembre ou l'on ne sait pas si pour le noël il va être enneigé ou pas. Et non, l'automne ça n'a pas l'air d'exister ici.)

Je vais peut-être en sortir pour un peu cette après-midi et même prendre des photos si je peu.

Le température ici c'est de -5 degrés (mais ça l'air d'être -11..brrr..) pas mal chaud comparé à l'Ontario et le Québec où il fait -20 degrés (...ça l'air plus comme dites...-28 *keufkeuf*). (-40 et moins à l'Iqualuit au Nord...mais les températures comme cela sont normal pour eux à ce temps-ci)

Alors, je vais m'en préparer un p'tit repas de kekchose puis, je vais sortir pour un peu.

Alright then, nothing much happening here except for the fact that its snowed and its freezing Canada-wide (No, even if it says Toronto is -1 its not. Its more like -12 there or something) minus Vancouver which doesn't get any snow and if it does, then the whole city is shut down. It looks really pretty outside too so I might end up taking photos I'm not too sure. Dad's gone for work and I forgot to ask him to lend me some money. Bah >>;

Ma soirée footballfiée disons...

Hé bien,

J'suis pas mal fatiguée et mon ordi se relentisse beaucoup ce soirée. C'est trop fatiguant. (lol)

J'ai passé pas mal de temps à regarder des photos du Centennaire de FIFA pour le "World Player of the Year" qui est allé à Ronaldinho avec le français Thierry Henry en 2e et l'ukranien Andriyv Schevenko en 3e. Pendant mes recherches, j'ai tombé sur un photo pas mal suprisant (pour moi) d'Henry et compagnie avant le Gala.


Même le légendaire (pas en football mais...) Ché s'y voit présent aux Galas du foot! (Peut-être Ché aimait le foot? On sait jamais...) (Yahoo FIFA World Cup 2006 site)

Mon amie, Devon va peut-être tomber en amour avec le fait qu'un footballeur star comme Thierry s'est habillé en T-Shirt de son héros Ché. lol. Faudra que je lui la quand elle fait le logon sur MSN demain.

C'est pas mal cool de voir un star et footballeur avec du classe (comme Thierry...ou même bien...Zizou...haha...) habille de façon "cool" en une chandail et t-shirt avec un image d'un revolutionnaire fameux dessus. *rires*

En d'autres nouvelles,

J'ai passé une bonne heure et demi à regarder des vieux clips sur le site officiel de FIFA de joueurs fameux comme Pélé ou Lev Yashin et al ou d'évenment(s) incroyable qu'on a pu voir dans les Coupes Mondiales. Je me suis rendu à Franz Bekenbauer (et le Coupe Mondiale en 74 je pense) quand le Flash semblait de ne plus fonctionner alors, j'attendrais pour demain 'vant de continuer à regarder les clips. (Bah...j'suis pas excité à regarder le clip du Coupe Mondiale de 2002 ou la France a comme, failli ou bien commen on dit en anglais "hit the dirt" avec leur essai qui est pas mal triste à regarder.(La perte contre le Sénégal, le Danemark...et finalement leur elimination sans avoir marqué un point) Mais '98...ça c'est celui que je veux voir et celui que je trouve a la plus belle finale!)

Il est tard (0h54 pour être honnêtement précise), si je veux faire du shopping à Chinatown demain faudra que je me lève un peu plus tôt ou kekchose.

So yeah I went out today. :)

To avoid ending up staying around doing nothing for the rest of the evening, I went out to Market Mall for a bit to look around. Mind, I did some looking around not alot. Christmas hasn't exactly been the top priority in terms of celebrations since my mum died but its a fun holiday to oversee once a year.

Ran into my Guidance Counsellor's daughter at Starbucks and we talked for a bit. It was nice seeing her again. She revealed to me that she was taking the year off before she heads off to New Zealand in a few months. (For vacation I assume) Also ran into Jess and her sister at Cinnezeo and I bought my cinnamon bun and ate it as they waited for thier mum and we talked for a bit. After they left I wandered around the mall for a bit looking at stuff. Saw a Man Utd. scarf and calendar that I'm sure Sammie would absolutely LOVE for christmas! (If the scarf wasn't oh say...29$ or the England soccer team calendar, 23$. =P)

Dad's gone off to the Ethiopian Church for a bit and I've got the house all to myself for the umpteenth time. I'm always home alone doing nothing. I might call Lei in a bit or I might call my mum's friend and see what's up or even try and reach by unreachable brother in Vancouver or the sleepy one in LA.

I might go off and watch TV for a bit...depends what's on I missed some show that was profiling Montréal where I was born which sucks. I would've really liked to have seen it. Unless the times were wrong and its on now...I'll go check.

New Begining

So, I have an LJ account and right now, I'm in the process of reviving my now once dead Blogger account.

The plan I have for this one is to be more..."realistic" I guess with more of a daily overture on how my days have been and since I'm not writing for any real audience I'll just be as open as I can be. (Though on my LJ I am open, this one is more closed I suppose)

So, I might make this french only jounral or an english only one or both, who knows. =)
